The Swedish government has announced that it’s going to be lifting more COVID-19-related restrictions in late September, including some around hosting public events, which means it’s increasingly possible the Major will be happening there in October.īack in July PGL, the Major’s organising body, said it was hopeful that the FPS game’s upcoming tournament would still take place in Sweden’s capital city, but with restrictions still in place due to the uncertain nature of the continuing pandemic, there were still some questions hanging over whether it could go ahead as planned.

If you have anything to add, please write it in the comments below. It’s looking ever more likely that this year’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive PGL Stockholm Major will go ahead as planned next month. I’m not 100% sure about this, but I recall you have to set the following settings (cvars): If the server adds bot, and you want to remove them, use the command “bot_kick” in the console. I would not recommend settings the sv_accelerate above 10, it will make your strafing to exaggerated. You can also change the sv_airaccelerate based on what difficulty you would like. For example they could have sv_airaccelerate set to 1000 instead of 800. Some servers has the sv_accelerate and sv_airaccelerate set to either highe or lower values. It is pretty straightforward what it does: it makes you accelerate faster or slower when in the air. What really makes the difference, is the sv_airaccelerate. Once in the console, type in the following commands, which will change the settings. When you have downloaded a surf map, start the game and open the developer console (~). These settings will work both for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and CS Source as well as CS 1.6.

If you want to do a little surfing on your own, you will first need to set a few settings, otherwise you will not be able to surf properly. Surf maps has become very popular in both CS:GO and Source.
